An elderly couple sit next to each other on a sandy beach, both in deck chairs. He has his legs crossed with a newspaper on his lap, wearing a suit and tie no socks and brown sandals. She is in a white cotton dress bare footed and behind her is a large straw bag, in which no doubt is a packed lunch.
